Back to the OP..... (who moderates these moderators?)

I think sometimes people forget the human behind the computer screen.
On the internet people see you as a name not as say "John" who has a job and a family, who is going to meet up with a friend after work drink a beer and walk his dog at the weekend, who worries about bills and their future.

In life you need to think about how you act as a person and how that attitude looks to others (Something my Grandpa said).

I'm not saying everyone has to be all "Oh wow OTM you are all so wonderful" in posts that would be disingenuous but when you open a thread and what could have been a really good discussion and it starts with "WOW OTM BUNCH OF ******* *******" it helps no one, creates a negative mindset for the post and we lose out on what could have been really valuable to the game.

We want feedback, we love feedback it is great and helps the game evolve but insults serve no purpose.

OTM are very open to players sure some might not see it that way "Why have you not done x,y,z" but there are other companies out there who have zero and I mean zero contact with their playerbase, I honestly think that is one of the reasons that the game has continued for so long, communication. Sure we may not communicate everything sometimes but we are a company, we do like to keep surprises. Hell it is why I am here.

I'm not fussed either way, I have thick skin, my job is to make sure you guys are heard and that I am communicating to you. Then at the weekend I live my life much like how all you do, I have friends a girlfriend, hobbies, commitments, worries, fears, enjoyments. Same as everyone else in the office.

We are after all just human.

The problem is we have been giving feedback for years and you guys still haven't listened to us. There have been problems that need to be addressed since 2013...Yes it may seem more profitable to keep making events so we buy more lux,fashion,and chests. Yes creating a higher level cap will bring more revenue, but making each new item better than the next starts to create a paradox where the newest thing is better even though they were the same price. Luxury items are NEEDED. The regen is so bad without any sigils or lux items. AT THE VERY LEAST let us buy sigils from the store instead of having to buy it with plat. When an endgame druid needs a minimum of 1k sigils to stay relevant, there is a big problem. In the long run when people realize there is no point in the game because the events are repeated with different types of lux and fashion. You WILL lose this business, and you WILL regret not listening to the player base. The fact that the CREATORS of the game haven't even reached endgame WITHOUT platinum is pathetic. YES this MMO has employees who talk to the players, but there are no employees who will say that this game is pay to win, grind to win or scam to win without lying. Many people forget this ,BUT without elixer and lux items it is almost impossible to reach endgame. The ONLY reason I keep coming back to this game is because it is so difficult to be the best in the game. In other MMO games I can easily beat the game in a few months without spending a single cent , but in this game it has taken me over 4 years of actively playing and buying plat and I haven't even gone close to reaching endgame. Stop looking at posts that won't help this game. LISTEN to what Aileron, Bitey, Criminal, and other endgame players have to say.

And we do listen, that is what the forum is here for but the team are also Game Developers they are here to work on the game.

The team have to create content that keeps everyone engaged both low levels and end game, they have to ensure the game survives as a whole.

As you said yourself "In other MMO games I can easily beat the game in a few months without spending a single cent , but in this game it has taken me over 4 years of actively playing" the difference being a game has been designed that keeps you coming back for over 4 years. That may be through game design, art social etc but it has kept you coming back and we thank you for that.

I understand your frustration with some of the issues raised, some may be by Design, some may be things we change in time. We do re evaluate previous content and make changes based on player feedback.
