It was bound to happen on nuada eventually no matter what the server did.. while there are plenty of good players on the server who I feel for.. a large amount of scammers and such went to nuada under new idenetities trying to escape their reps on old servers.. and well ofc something happened instead of some of these people who should have been ip banned long ago, they started fresh and then stuff like this happens and it effected a lot of good players also.. it's a shame really..

Rolls are terrible in any way, correct me if I’m wrong but in Epona you can turn up to any boss from any clan and get a roll? I am in a clan with rolls in it too, and I hate the system. You can’t expect to be geared by the roll of a dice. Yes, maybe leadership was poor but rolls would just make matters worse. Especially on a new server like Nuada where everyone is desperately looking and trying to grab the best gear, Nuada’s prices would inflate beyond belief. Dkp is only right to manage who gets the drop fairly, stopping it from being ruled by those who spend thousands on the game over activity. *No offence to you or Epona*, but it is one of the last servers I’d think of going to. And if that kinda system was done on my server I’d probably xfer out.

The idea of rolls is to bring the entire server together as one to down bosses and test your luck the same way you would in any other MMORPG. I would personally prefer a united server over a split server with competition that can get out of hand at times. I guess it’s mainly because I simply enjoy killing bosses more so than the items they drop. Drops are just a perk to me.

But, my place is on Belenus as it’s where I started and is where all my mates are at. Maybe if Nuada became a baby Epona I might go there to play for fun. Nuada clearly needs to change up their act because they already failed once, so why not learn from the most popular server?

I guess you are right in bringing the server together, since numbers are real low. I just don't favor having no competition and no solid way of distributing drops.

imho, there are too many servers and so few players (not counting alts and triple logging)

Well obviously bringing the server together in one big clan won’t work cause it sounds like there’s some tension going on. Also looked at the leaderboards for Nuada and a lot of the top players are scattered around in different clans. According to the leaderboards Nuada has 48 players lvl 205 and above, and if you guys can hardly even down Mordy then there’s clearly a problem lol.

Imo Nuada needs to be more unique to attract more players, because why would anyone want to leave their current server to go to a similar server but with broken clans that can’t even down Mordy lol. Only reason why Nuada has players in the first place was because it was a brand new server, but now it seems like the nostalgia is gone and everyone is frustrated cause they can’t progress. So if Nuada became a Epona type server, I bet you will be able to down Mordy once again and will for sure attract new faces. Could try to build up a clan again, but you guys already failed once through poor leadership and cheating the game so I wouldn’t go down that route again.

Blaming otm for killing Nuada won’t fix the server, it’ll require the effort from everyone there to bring it back up again.

Rolls suck so bad
Dom clans produce some drama, but that drama is outside in by people who get rejected.
I’d much rather put up with competition (which makes the game fun) than have my ability to get geared depend either on my IRL bank account or luck...
Personal preference, but Epona is far from the only server that is thriving.
