I sincerely doubt that OneThumb is the least bit concerned with how much 'fake gold' certain segments of the populace are able to earn by selling rare items to other players. I also sincerely doubt that they will find it necessary to change items around (either those in existence, or those to come in the future) in order to affect the supply/demand on the player market, just so a few enterprising people can make EVEN MORE fake gold.
There may be a few logical reasons to allow players to pay a small fee or talk to an NPC to make any item they want 'bind on equip'/'no trade' for an added layer of security (and certain quest items are probably better this way also, particularly for the starter quests), but ALL items should be fully trade-able in my opinion.
Let the markets sort it out, and lord know that prices of many items get over-inflated enough as it is without having the developers putting further constraints on trading...
