#12This is interesting. Before the double plat event elixers were about 4k and res pots/idols about 300 gold. Then the massive influx of plat came in and elix went down to 3k and res pots down to 200 gold.
Now on Epona the plat is drying up from the event and noone is selling. Prices are slowly creeping back up to pre double plat price and even higher in some cases. The party is over I guess. The bad thing is that people are spoiled from double plat so no one is buying new plat to get new consumable items into the server.
This means that soon Super Knowledge Elixers might even creep back up to like 4-5k soon if this keeps up. They definitely already sell over 3k bc if you shout selling for 3k you will get swamped with trades. I would buy 100 now for 3k but no one is selling. When they get to this price people will shell out more dollars for plat to take advantage of the inflated prices. At this point more consumables will enter the system, insane demand will go down, and prices will settle back to about 3-4k elixers and 250 for pots.
The lesson in this is that there is no set price. Find a consistent plat buyer and be loyal to him if you want a set price. Either that or buy your own plat. Understand the supply and demand system and STOCK UP when demand is low to get the best price. This cycle will always continue.
