But as Freeze stops the mob, your able to step back for a tick and completly regen however much your sigils and lux can do.

Personally I would do 8 shards 3 ice lure (since each already has one in it) instead of 10 incinerate.So without he lure shards hits high enough to warrant the energy cost? I ask because I have 9 skill points to spend and am trying to decide to put into shards or incinerate.Master wand stats are +50 focus +3 ice shards.
I use freeze for my sigils this way if for some reason I can't kill the mob or another mob comes up from behind I can kill 1st mob freeze mob and gain full hp and mp.
But ice lure I would still not use if I got rid of freeze as I don't see a point in having two lures maxed as ice has only 1 dmg spell.

incinerate isn't really good.
And duh ice lure is very important if your using shards no matter how many points you have in shards. Its a balance between shards and ice lure to get max damage above shards itself.
Ie 20 in shards and 5 in ice lure would outdamage 25 in shards on almost any monster.
Simply not true. When I was on trees (fire vulnerable) I switched from an all fire build to dropping incinerate for a mix of shards and ice lure. Even on trees, I killed much fasterIts sort of like, with the amount of stat points you do have, you can only choose one side or the other - fire or ice? because to have both, meaning all of those skills maxed, plus ice lure and incinerate, I think is too much. it would be far more effective to just go with one, and then start to put points into the other.
