Re: Rogues Stink... (Class Change)

I just want to be a equal and to do so no class should lack so far behind then the others.

Tell this to druids. If all classes are equal, there is no point in having different classes.
In the Beta with some of te best stuff I can get my hands on with 142 damage I'm hitting 87 using Sneak Attack fully upgraded to 15 on level 77s. I look over to see a Firebolt hititng a 180 with I hope lure of fire. Is there any way we could all be considered equal? ... For the other Rogues I'm talking about the Beta... As of now were still better then... Huh well as of now nothing!

Again, look at druids. Also, Mages are SUPPOSED to have the highest dmging skills, they have virtually no armor and their auto attack is a joke.
Beyond that, I don't know what to say since rogues are the only class I haven't played at all with warriors being a close second... I will point out that it seems as though rogues are not meant to have the highest hits in this game, but with decent hits and fast attack speed they should be ranked first in DPS (I could be wrong though...)
DPS (Damage per second) is simple to figure out, but while rogues should do the most hits per second, they should not be the highest DPS. This is due to the fact that they are designed to wear medium armor and have evasion (and soon parry). Rogues should be #2 in dps, behind mages-due to light armor and (depending on the build) little to no evasion.
Damage output needs to be balanced against survivability-either by armor or evasion or healing. If one is severely lacking (armor/healing for mages), than there should be a lot of the opposite (damage output).
Did he just compare Celtic Heroes.... to slavery? Am I the only one who caught that?
Yes, he did. A very poor comparison considering he is learning about the underground railroad.

ATM mages have the highest dps of all classes except against incarnation. I took avatars agro at lv49 from a lv58 rogue, and at the same level as a warrior we can probably take agro from them too given enough time.

We should have the most powerful spells, maybe not the highest dps ingame.. Lol. But the weak Mage armor and wand generally balances us out against other classes that can take much harder hits for a lot longer.

This is so stupid, it makes me wonder if there's any thought in who becomes a beta tester...

Rogues/rangers are the best solo classes. They have very good damage and a bit of armor.
Rogues dps is very high, its only beat by mages and even then it depends on their build. Plus rogues can actually do damage without mana, something mages are worthless without.

Can we stop with the dumb threads about which class is worst? At least when they're as dumb as this one. Let me just summarize each classes downside.

Warrior: low damage
Rogue: low health
Mage: low armor/health
Ranger: doesn't specialize in anything
Druid: worthless when solo

Yup, that just about sums it up.

all the non rogue playing people don't seem to get the fact that sneaky attack is a one shot deal. I get one chance to use it, then its done. I am stuck with other skills after that.
I love my Rogue because I like the character i have created and have put a lot of work into him. but my warrior is easier to play @ 10 levels below with less $ spent to boost him. the warrior hits harder is more survivable than the rogue.
I have seen mages, druids, and rangers solo bosses with out potions. haven't seen a warrior or rogue pull it off with out help or pots. I have seen lots of rangers solo bosses. they all have a trick to make them stronger like bolos.
