Equilux is the word you are thinking about. When there are exactly 12 hours between Sunrise & Sunset. When Night and Day are equal.

Equinox happens at a similar time usually, twice a year, usually only a few days from the Equilux, but its not technically that definition. Though it's kinda fuzzy why not, and its a tad bit redundant but...

An Equinox is when the Northern and Southern Hemispheres have an Equal Nox, or equal night...it has to do with the axis of the Earth...It is defined as the instantaneous event at which the axis of Earth's rotation and the line joining the Earth and sun is exactly perpendicular. So equal divides of nox, or night on the earth.

So your two clans can have a balanced night between you with the name of Equinox, but that name isn't really to do with daytime, its just a very common misconception. That said, yer clan could be called EquiMuffin, as long as you have fun and treat each other right, who really cares?

Lol since i havent played since monday this morning i came back on, was like wheres my clan, then soon as i look in area and seen a new clan name never saw before i was like... Why on earth is there a clan called EQUINOX lol cuz i hated science back in high school and i had to do a major project on Earth's EQUINOX. Which was a pain in the booty smh! So basically just imagine how I was when i saw the name like "oh hellllllll noo.. Plz dont tell me thats gone be a clan name i have to represent" I couldn't stop hitting myself cross the head wit my pillow. (Only suggestion wished was that our clan name could had been called "Initiation" which stands out more to represent a new beginning of a group to society. Also most of all the things that is on this game of "Celtic Heroes" is represented of "Initiation", because every clan has rules that are secret to others that who are not clan related, overall most role play of this game is like learning of fiction and sometimes true rituals that people actually practice, and believes in different country's in real life. Such as "The Manner Celtic Temple", where most of British European arts of Celtic stories come from that are writing upon the stones in links between languages like Gaulish and Old British, and for many years those linkages have been described as "Celtic" which people who gather around between the "The Manner Celtic Temple" for ceremony's believing every Third of June there'll be called for different Gods to lead them in the right direction saving from evil and those who fight over power to be stopped.

"That's why I feel "Initiation" represents us more of having two powerful clans unite as one. - Having a strong brotherhood, is what being there for one another is all about. Helping each other grow stronger as a group/clan/society and being apart of the beginning of something new.

Was thinking neo pagan symbolism rather than astronomical technicalities when I, ahem, suggested the name.

I was thinking less about equal balance between the two clans merging and more about change and balance on our lil planet. Not so much a precise balance of night and day (or night and night) but more about the changing of the seasons, a moment in the turning of the wheel of the year when large forces are balanced. Spring equinox ('scuse my northern-hemispherism here) is considered to be a time of rebirth, fertility, planting the seeds which will be gratefully harvested and shared for autumnal equinox. Change, balance, renewal, rebirth, and hopes for a great harvest yet to come; these were the themes I wanted to emphasize in helping to create this new clan.
