Re: Fixing the energy problem for mages

#12
I think most people that complain about energy problems are not willing to put the points needed into boost.
I use both sacrifice and eboost (34/30) for ice shard (39/30) and firebolt (30/30) and e shield (31/30)

My focus is at 850 with 2 books and a crown of focus, still run out of energy relatively fast. Energy isnt a big deal at low lvl but just wait until you get a little bit higher.

I stand by my point and you neglected to quote the entire rest of my statement that said boost would not be enough.
Most people who complain about energy don't want to put points into boost or sacrifice because the want max dps.

I bought sigils and have stated many times that I think mages should try to have at least 400 energy sigils to enjoy the class at higher levels. I have made the case many time that there are energy and skill options available if you do not want to buy sigils but you will not be able to max dps.

I think this thread is a little bit pointless because i think the game creators intended for mages to have a big energy problem in exchange for being op
have you every seen any "weak" or "wimpish" mages out there?
no, theyre all "competent" or "skillful" or "invincible" or something (alright there could be one or two weak mages but they must suck at judging opponents or playing or something)

That's coming from a guy with a level 40 mage. Of course mages are OP at pvp. They don't fight long enough to run out of energy. This isn't even about pvp. Try playing an 80+ mage without lux

If mages have energy problems, think about the poor druids who didn't get any energy cost reductions..

Example, A lv 35 ice shards cost abt 260 energy cost whereas a lv 35 storm cost 450 energy.. Ouch...
MorphMarfa has retired from Celtic Heroes and most probably wont be resurfacing. He had a enjoyable time during his druid adventures in Taranis.
