If you examine the skill, in the skill page, it says that assassins lure is affected by fire ability.

Fire ability barely actually increases the effectiveness of your spells, it pretty much just reduces the chance that the skill will evade.

which is very important for mages, even lvl 30 mage can see how much mobs avoid skills

Yeah I knew where to look for that, just I don't have asassins lure right know, so I was just wondering.

i find that cloak of fire is very ineffective on mobs lvl 70 or higher. i used it to power lvl my druid, it worked very well on low mobs, but pretty ineffective on stonevale mobs at 30/30.
