Playing a DPS druid you're most likely always going to pull aggro unless you're fighting with a mage/rogue.
Have you tried perma rooting the mob? I've dualboxed a druid/rogue, druid/warrior/ druid/ranger...I would imagine that with Longshot + Roots you can almost indefinitely keep the mob at bay, unless it resists one or the other then you've got a couple seconds of cooldown to try again.
Longshot - Root - Longshot - Root etc...In theory it sounds great =)
Playing my 125 druid full DPS I was stealing aggro (when no warrior used Taunt) from mages 10+ levels above me and getting the kill on bosses.
If you do the root route, DO NOT bola it, bolas releases the root effect. Can't tell you how many times I've wanted to punch a ranger in the face for bola'ing a rooted boss.
