Magic is the least resisted type of dmg (after divine for bosses and poison generally except for few mobs), solo wise, its the best type of dmg, not by a lot, but thats still better.
Cold at ow is only good for magma golems, lvling there sucks. Magic is the best for ow.
Fire/Cold dmg will be the best with a mage, and so as magic ofc if they would use magic lure, resists wise, the one that gives heat resist would prob be better, for wyrms ofc, im not sure if the cold axe gives cold dmg and heat resist tho.

I've always heard magic was generally the most resisted, although i dont see any proof of that, honestly if you want to go by a purely pvp standpoint i have more cold and heat resist then magic. I dont know of any mobs that resist magic especially, i see cold and heat mobs, only magic mobs are yellow boggs? I dont see how its the worst dmg, almost seems like a happy medium instead of cold an heat which are either resisted or in resisted.

I recommed getting the level 100 damage helm. Fire or cold is best, never buy magic. Also you should get a little more damage, buy any rings or bracelets.

Might i ask, whts wrong with magic? With the boggans magic is better untill 150+

i also dont know whats wrong with magic. i remember the previous versions magic was the popular element.

I recommend getting the level 100 damage helm. Good dps increase, and no real opportunity cost since as others have said, you cannot obtain the meteoric set bonus.

I agree since you have no chance of getting the aura anymore get your frozen as you go and focus on getting helm
