It must vary a lot, not just from day to day but month to month. People quit and come back all the time. Because of this its kinda hard to make any kind of estimate without any data, especially across all worlds. It's possible there is a slow decline as more and more people stop playing and don't come back.

I use to be on all day everyday last summer due to punishment. Funny how I couldn't go out but still got to have device. Luckily they don't have forums lol.
I can't be on as much lately. I will try to be on more or when the sun goes down.
