VI-Internal Server Trade
Trades within the same server are much simpler than multi server ones. Here are the steps I follow in the trading process:
1. Collect Person A's items/gold.
2. Collect Person B's items/gold.
3. Give Person A Person B's items/gold.
4. Give Person B Person A's items/gold.

What is the point of this? Why make a simple trade more complicated? This service seems ripe for exploitation and is very risky for those who would use it

This is true! Take scammers, the majority are low lvl to hide their identity. A level is just a number. Vold is also a perfect example, he's like 104 now and is probably one of the most knowledgable in game because of his forum activity.

How can you be so blunt with that statement? Has he scammed anyone yet? Best to do a back ground check by reading all of the OP's post and questioning his rep on his server.

I doubt anyone with over 400 forums post would want to tarnish their rep, theres only very few exception such as Slade/soulweakk/ambush.

Im not demeaning FHM, but clearly he doesnt have a clue about being a middle-man, i.e. You DONT NEED ONE when trading within same server.

Cross-server transfer are tough, it all boils down to trust. I would suggest using two middle men, both with high levels and stellar reputation in their respective servers. Never give your items to a level 1 toon.

Person A gives items/gold to High Level Trusted Person C in Server X
Person B gives items/gold to High Level Trusted Person D in Server Y
High Level Trusted Person C gives items/gold to Person B in Server X
High Level Trusted Person D gives items/gold to Person A in Server Y

Biggest scam i was ever witness to in an mmo started this way. Over two years they built trust up doing server transfers and account sales. Then they stalled out after borrowing a ton of stuff / doing several large transfers and made off with a staggering amount of loot and accounts. Easily 100m+ in ch terms.

Bottom line is the scam rate is well over 50%. You better be pretty damn desperate to use a service like this.
