If you know you are going to level to 150 quickly, you might even skip the 100 doc ammy and get the 150 one. (Though I suppose you could get both if you have the funds.)

Just buy sigils.... Regen is for looks if you have sigils

Would u recommend the 1mil nightflyer? It has alot of regen for energy

its entirely possible to lvl on a mount, and it actually can be very effective. i leveled with a mount for the longest time (arctic stormskimmer), but switched to a void fire grimoire and bastion shield since where i lvl the enemies are close together. whats good about a mount is you can travel from mob to mob quickly without the need of run elixirs. the added skill on the stormskimmer can save you in a pinch if you have to freeze, no skill points necessary. in fact my brother leveled on the wyrms solo at 180-190 on a staff and did very well.

the new staff has armor and resists which help, although i will say i do not like the close proximity of the halt skill. regen from the staff is nice, but you will still have energy problems if not now, soon. its best to invest in sigils and heroic energies.

so to answer your question, id say it depends on where you level. in an area where enemies are close use a shield and aggy book. in an area where enemies are spread out use a mount. yet again, its all personal preference.
