Carrow mobs have high resistance to all elemental dmg, not just magic lol. Just happens that magic lurers are basically nonexistent so it'll usually be less effective. Not true about otherworld either, certain bosses have very little resistances to certain elemental types. Aggy seems to have very little resistance to all three types. Woodcrown is obviously low fire resist, pyrus is low ice resist, etc. And I don't know why anyone would even care about murky as a whole; hrungnir and necro are the only relevant mobs there

Soooo, poison and Magic dmg ftw?

The mages are weak to magic so i wouldnt be surprised if the 190 edl had less resistance to it than fire or ice. Its just not noticeable because no mages carry a magic lure. It would be wierd of otm to give some edl bosses bosses greater weaknesses to fire or ice but leave out magic. It just hasnt been tested because it doesnt matter; a lured fire or ice would do more damage than magic with no lure, even if the boss is weak to it, unless of course the boss is REALLY weak to magic.
