Dont use riposte as a locker. You are much better off using poison weapons. Its also useful when you level so helps both. Whilst riposte is mor useful for leveling, overall poison weapons is more benefitial when applying to boss and lock.

No it isn't. Some bosses can lock before you can even get a handful of autos off. Besides, what's an extra ~100 poison damage when resisted and fluctuated in such a short time frame? compare that to the possible multiple 2-3k hits from riposte.

Riposte is good for bossing IF you can get agro. When there are multiple rogue lockers the odds of you getting agro are low. And if you do get agro a boss will usually start by casting skills making riposte useless in that case and quite often killing you leading to lost agro. If it is a 4* spawn then it will die before riposte is even useful. If its a 5 or 6* then poison weaps is better because of the fact it can be precast and on a longer fight it beats riposte. Besides, i did say that is from my personal experiences with both skills...

Riposte is better for leveling. Pw i better for bosses. Pw is okay for leveling. Riposte is not as useful for bossing.
