i think your problem is your inclination to minmax your character
if you keep a balanced stat line then you can achieve a good mix of casting and combat

we do take a while to kill anything, at 47th level with 60 str and a grand staff (ability 450) it takes 3 hits to put down a scrawny grey wolf
but our major bonus is our heals, especially now that interupts have been lowered so our heals are more likley to work in combat we can drag a fight out
our damage per second is slow but we can just keep healing ourselves till the job is done

i tried to explain the mechanics of working as a healer through the ingame chat
but the post was too big and the chat crashed and kicked me off the server Lol
maybe if i have time i will go into the mathematics of healing your tank and never running out of energy
but safe to say that it can be done

other players cant kill bosses without us druids unless they pay money for potions
so we dont fail as a class
once your clan realises that it is in their interest to help you train
they will hopefully stop stealing your kills

obviously the easiest fix to both kill stealing and getting xp is to buddy up with a tank
group together so you share xp
and start taking down some lv45-50 4* mobs and bosses
