I'm assuming the people who care about the scamming stuff are the ones who get scammed. Word to those people: Dont be mindless! It's so easy to click on the items and assure that it is the item you want and it says what item is added at the top. Idk just a feeling of my own but if you get "scammed" it was for the best. You will learn from it and hopefully help other conceited morons, that you are oh so familiar with being or yourself, realize that if you put your items/gold into a trade check and make sure the item you want is what the other player that is probably smarter than you has in his slot! Thanks now don't be a dumb mindless person. The trade system they have set up is completely fine. Chances are that if you are scammed you deserve it!
I've never been scammed, but I care about it and want to help stop it. Your assumption is incorrect, and doesn't account for empathy.
There are several scams, and some are quite complex and well thought out. Bernard Madoff maintained a scam for decades without detection. Your final statement would imply that even all the charities that invested with Madoff deserved to be scammed. In fact, it was so well thought out that even the SEC was unable to uncover it until it collapsed upon itself.
I agree with you that being scammed creates a learning experience, and you will be less likely to be scammed again. It also, unfortunately, lessens your likeliness to trust your true friends.
As was mentioned by another poster, it isn't simply removing items from the trade window. It is more likely a long-scam that involves the scammer transferring his/her items first, thereby creating a false sense of trust.
I am unable to determine why someone who falls for a scam is conceited. You need to look up the word.
You sound like you have been scammed for a large amount, and are over compensating. I am not assuming that, I am just saying that that is what it sounds like.
