If you have amazing DPS gear then yes, obviously knucks or h2h or a fast dagger. Thats the same with any class.

Why? because of poor game balance.

Nerfed Mage ~140
Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?

With even semi decent damage gear knucks blow the doors off spear , so how about a real reason to use spear , saying they out dps knucks is a dumb answer since they don't .

1 decent reason for any high level ranger to use spear , that's all I'm asking for .

I really enjoy spear based rangers in this game. They take more player skill than bola, rapid shot, run away, bola, rapid shot, run away...

You know NOTHING about bow rangers , to say it requires more skill to be a spear/shield ranger shows how little you actually know.
