Hi there, none of the players know me personally, and there are no staff from OTM playing in these clans - so those statements are totally unfounded - however it is a clear breach of the terms of service to impersonate an OTM employee and this will be investigated.People were flooding the shout channel saying we know admin personally, one person even went as far to say one of us was a developer for Celtic heroes. People were flipping out saying that it's BS because the server never crashes when we kill aggy, but they didn't take time to think about it, really. I mean, seriously, Think about the way they do Aggy compared to the way we do it. Clearly the way you guys came about kill it was the reason the server always crashes. Aggy is not ment to be a boss you can idol, it seems silly that people don't understand why the server can't handle this over-flow of idols or even deaths. Maybe it's not the deaths, maybe it's because people are spamming the "Use resurrection Idol" button and the chat can't keep up with this and all the tamers, wyverns, cults, and aggy all casting their dialog at the same time.

#22Seems to be confusion here , let me explain . Nobody was claiming to be an otm employee nor were they claiming to know admin personally . The clan that lost out on Aggy was accusing players in the clan that beat Aggy of being an otm employee or knowing you personally . Awen was just pointing out how ridiculous some of the accusations being shouted in otherworld were after Avalon killed Aggy . #23Yes admin there is a confusion. The rival clan accused us of impersonating OTM staff, they cussed us out without sway for about 2-3 mins, they filed baseless reports on us due to the crash. What happened was we were assembling while they were dying, alot. We knew they wouldnt even be able to kill aggaroth as a result of the constant dying character sounds and because aggaroth repeatably would break from their tank (he did not have good taunt apparently , and his healers couldnt keep him alive) . So we were prepared to fight aggaroth. Then as soon as most of our active clan logged in and we were about to set groups up. (Still plat usage by other clans, and i am assuming our armor effects also came into play) we all of a sudden had a crash and the server was down for 5 or so minutes. My clanmates are frustrated because at least three times now the server has crashed and Aggy reset while we were trying to take. And yes, people lost a lot of plat. I wasn't even at the fight yesterday but my Kik was flooded afterwards with furious and disheartened clannies sharing theories of corruption and conspiracy.
Some of my clanmates have started to theorize that Avalon has some pull with OTM and is deliberately causing this to happen. Avalonians are not claiming this and the ones I have talked to think the theory is laughable. I don't think it holds water and I think all the issues brought forward in this thread likely play in. But these conspiracy theories are gaining momentum among my clannies and frustration is so high that people are talking about quitting.
I am sad and frustrated to see my friends so demoralized and I wanted to find some way to debunk,the theory. I was hoping we could replicate a server crash outside of Aggy to help people see that it is probably some issue related to server traffic not some secret conspiracy.
Frankly, I wish my clan would forget about that stupid lizard until after update and after we've levelled.
Sigh.
