24 hours, almost 400 views in a single world forum section. Just from mentioning clans and names.

Just a simple list pulled from the in game online rankings, the top 5 clans outside of my own, and their top 10 leveled players as of the time of my original post. Pointless to post on the forums as you can pull the same thing up in game yeah?

Well there's a power to making a 'naming' thread. The power of drawing attention. Regardless of it's context being pointless, or positive, or negative. People see names being mentioned, they want to see what it's about.

That was my whole point in doing this. Without being negative or positive, just naming names to show how much attention it draws. And to point out that that's mainly all these 'naming' threads have the power to do. To draw attention. How much do they affect what actually happens in game? Little to none. Peoples actions in game, are what affects, the things that happen in game. I asked people to let me know if being named in the thread had any affect on them in game. None.

People are going to have fights in game, bicker with people, despise people in game. Are you going to be able to change everything that happens to you in game? No. Is taking it on the forums going to have any real affect to what happens in the game? No.

If you genuinely cared about trying to resolve an issue you keep having with people in game, you'd talk to them in game, or privately, man to man, woman to woman, or man to woman/etc. If it can't be resolved then it can't be resolved. At that point, is going on the forums and painting yourself as being wronged and them being negative REALLY going to change anything IN THE GAME? No. Most people know this, that's why they handle whatever happens in game, in the game. Some people are young, or naive, or both, that they don't know this just yet. But if you're old enough to know better, then you're just doing it for the attention. Maybe you like to get responses out of people, meaning essentially you like to troll. That's what trolls do, they do things just to get a response.

So I'm just pointing it out to those that maybe didn't realize it. You see someone making a 'naming' thread, step back, take a look at the person behind it, and question what their reasoning in doing so REALLY is. If they made a post that's just going to get a negative response in return, and not going to 'resolve' anything in game, it's a thread dead on arrival of being locked, you know they're just doing it for the attention. It's best to IGNORE these people and these posts. As they saying goes. Don't feed the trolls.
sometimes when a person keeps repeating themselves over and over, it just becomes background noise and soon enough people stop paying attention.
Whether a scammer or a troller, their behavior works in a cycle. These people get to a point where they say they're going to stop doing what they're notorious for. And sooner than later you see them repeating their actions over again. You know you've seen it in game and here. They say they'll stop, and within a month of saying that, they pickup where they left off, continue to do what they're known to do til they're banned. They're allowed back, but you know, sooner or later, the cycle will repeat. It's almost inevitable with some people.

And if you're not one for drama. And you know a troll that LOVES Shakespeare, you know what that means, they LOVE drama. They like attention, they'll drop names to get it. They'll do what they can to make new drama to keep themselves entertained. If the game doesn't entertain them, they'll do it here on the forums. Don't be a puppet in their show. It's best to ignore these people if you don't want to see yourself involved with drama. They might call you out specifically to get a response. Try your best not to take the bait. Once again, don't feed the trolls.

I have made my apology oNi and what I think you fail to understand is that it is precisely the 'drama' in the game, and the continual negative behaviour of some in it that drove me to absolute fury, which I then vented on this forum. I was not seeking 'attention' here (your reply is clearly aimed at me as in my love of Shakespeare), but in fact sick of game probs that were stopping me enjoying the game (and not ones that just affected me but other decent players). I have admitted my character failings and that I need to grow a 'thicker skin'. I didn't rush to join the forum (I was told well over a year ago I was being trashed on it by someone, that made me glad I wasn't registered to it). As I say, I only talked of serious game issues on here cos far from being sorted on game, they seem to either fester or get worse. But yes, I fully recognise it has been a waste of time and alters nothing. So again, I made a mistake. And yes, some people on game will always be aggressive and hostile and that's just how it is. I have learned that now.

Oni, I agree with this post. I do think all should come together, if that is what you are saying. I think it is a great idea. Some on this server can not get past their egos and become better players with other high levels.
I agree with you on this. There's a clan that tried to kill aggy I'm guessing for their first time just a few weeks back. They put in the effort to camp and get a lock for sure. They tried but failed, and failed to realize that as a clan they just weren't ready. Some of them blamed the other clans that were there waiting to see if they could get a crack at aggy. I tried pointing out to them basically what you said about coming together, their response was along the lines of what you said as well, they said it's been tried before but some people don't want to let go of their power.

“You don’t try to build a wall. You don’t set out to build a wall. You don’t say ‘I’m going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that’s ever been built.’ You don’t start there. You say ‘I’m gonna lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid,’ and you do that every single day, and soon you have a wall.” -Will Smith

To have a great wall, you gotta start with a strong foundation or else sooner than later, the wall will start develop cracks and eventually fall over. I think this a pretty good concept that can be applied to many situations in life and in game when you have a goal you're trying to reach. And there's nothing wrong with trying and failing. It just makes success that much more gratifying in the end.

A well made humiliation against individual. By the way also in the post about aggragoth was not needed. You speak about how morrigan should be on forums these posts of yours only seem to provoke something

I'll agree to disagree. I think motivational posts are needed and useful in many threads. If it provokes someone into wanting to build a great wall whatever their goal may be, good luck to them. If you can't find anything positive from a motivational post and think its unneeded, maybe you're too focused on the negative.

Since you partly agreed, How can a humiliation be a positive factor, and this isn't a motivational posts if reading it carefully. Again, it is a clever way to cover up humiliation by so called motivational

No offense to oNi, but Aralus has a point. Said person has already apologized in several posts and you targeted said person again. The reason was harmful, but I can see the point you're trying to convey. As said above, agree to disagree.
