How his damage only increases by one, the first screen shot he could of got a rouge to cast posion weapon on him and use a attack elixer.
His attack doesnt change, so I don't know how you got the attack elixer into your head.
When everyone agrees and doesn't try and prove him wrong, it most likely means it is legit.
I know him in-game and he doesn't seem like he would cheat a picture and show admin that the calculations are incorrect because it would be stupid and impossible.
Why would he do that if he is asking a question related to knowledge rather than asking for a fix?

Here is a graph I posted in the mage forum that looks at Focus vs. Spell dmg. The equation was the same regardless of skill level (which for all intents and purposes can be presumed linear). I would presume they used the same math for str vs dmg in warriors and etc. If anyone is interested in more accurate and thorough analysis you can always post more data for us to look at, the requirements for doing so effectively can be found in the firebolt research thread in the mage forum.

Be advised that this graph is showing dmg as reflictive of what our firebolt skill does, which is, I believe, a multiple of basic dmg.

So 300 is pretty much the beginning of the plateau stage.

If we presume the data will continue on this arc, it appears so. It also appears as though the returns begin to diminish at around 180. With this information I have put about 180 points in HP, and the rest in focus for my mage DPS build (I don't really find str and dex at all useful for high lvl mage). For me, the really important finding was that skill level increases dmg linearly (more or less), and therefore you can always do well increasing your skill levels. The question we got stuck on in the mage forum was how ability level works into these figures. ABility level does not change dmg as indicated by looking at the skills. Therefore, I am not really sure what skill level does, perhaps just increase hit percentage (I have seen attack go up with ability increase)? Which, unfortunately, is incredibly hard to calculate unless someone feels like spending a few days collecting data on ability level.

You probbabky just potted and got posion weapon on the first ss...
Why the hell would I do that?

Wouldn't waste my pot on a damn screenshot to make myself look like a fool, and wouldn't hastle a noob to poison weapon me, and my own poison weapon adds around 55 damage. Also.. I didn't know how much damage it was going to add until I clicked submit, so would have had to be incredibly lucky to get it perfect to 1 damage.

Well that's my laughs for the day..

So here are my first group of stats - I have various levels of strength/ damage increases with the use of diamond bp and legs and the ice offhand sword.

Strength Damage Strength Damage
250 318 255 320
265 323 270 324
270 324 275 325
285 329 290 330
325 540 330 541 (with +200 damage ice sword)
340 543 345 546 (with +200 damage ice sword)
360 549 365 550 (with +200 damage ice sword)

Looks to be a plateau at 270 to me.....
Though there was an odd blip of +3 damage at 345.

I will add more data soon.

Read the mage forum. It is a logexp (log exponential) graph. If you are good with excell get a logexp data fit to your curve then you have an equation to use.

Log exponential never levels off.

Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?
