Imo no this is not a good suggestion creating a group from all the big clans is just plain wrong. Where does the little guy get a say? And i dont believe ade should be in this comittee due to her opinion of half of the world. The people that are on forums are either old players or the most devoted players. To join forums from the game is an option, to vote on a rule is an option. It takes 2-3mins to create one, and it takes less than a minute to post +1 or -1. Our world has changed alot yes, some for the better, some for the worse, but we cant let a few people within one playerbase to govern how everyone plays the game. Sure theyve played through that section before, but it doesnt mean that they understand what is happening at the current time.

And as i said there could be a comittee of 12 that agree on a rule but a playerbase of 200 who oppose it. Never let a comittee make lughs rules. Let your clan comittees make your rules not mine.

Your definition of devotion must be different than mine. I can think of a laundry-list of toons that are just as or more devoted to the game than the majority of the forum's active participants, and they are not active on the forums. .... Yet, another reply with more Ade bashing, and no offered suggestion or solution :/

How am i in any way bashing ade in this post? I am simply explaining my points towards this suggestion. Please dont attempt to make me or anyone else explaining their points out to be the bad person.

But i should explain, when someone has so many clashes with other players i wouldnt agree for them to be in the comittee, hence i myself would opt not to be in this sort of thing. I know for a fact i clash often with many, and this would just cause chaos in this committee. Now as my most active player in my clan i should be entitled to join, yes, but should level and activeness be the deciding factor? No, it should be who is level headed enough to not cause troubles within lugh.

Luk I have to disagree with you. I am the one that holds that title. Lets not forget the aggy debate. I believe everyone other than a certain few has stated that the forums are the best place and has been the tradition on our server. Not sure why 1 certain clan has problems with that. And yes, before you respond Tech, read all the post. I hope we do not have a repeat of the long lost aggy days but its starting to look that way. One solution would be, go to another server that is 1 clan rule or shares your views. You will be a high level soon enough with all the lixes. Just a thought.

Just look at the past few votes on the forum.

I proposed one recently that got sabotaged by sarge and luk.

Rand tried to resolve a problem that never got any sort of solution.

Tried voting on 200 lock and that became a mess.

I could go on.

This forum voting is a joke. Half the votes are based on some ulterior motive and almost all the rest are not well-informed votes.

And no, lol I didn't plan on trying to be a part of the committee.

But decisions being made by rog, lc, ak, callu, instant, cecil, smart, and viru seems a lot better than our current system.

The forum vote system sounds nice on paper but it's totally screwed up right now. Many of the decisions are basically being made by sarge, luk, link, raijin, and a couple others. You're telling me that this is better than the committee system?

Use some common sense, this bs has gone on too long.

We do voice our opinions and obviously people agreed with us or else your ideas would have become rules. And sabotaged is a strong word, i posted why i should be able to, countering your statements, correcting your false accusations, and i got my point across... This is how a multiclan server should work. Not a server governed by a few
