I'm surprised no one has brought up a limit to how many name changes you can have. Personally I'd say a maximum of 3 name changes per character is necessary.

Pretty much what meant when I said Luscious, Lusciouslipbalm, Lipbalmshinin in post above. I know names are long just an example. Almost certain someone will come to Crom with these names now lol.

I dont like a limit to how many times u can change ur name per character. Instead, just limit it to how many times they can change it in a certain time period.

I don't even see the point of having names if you can just change them constantly tbh. It would be pointless to learn and remember a name just to forget it, to get a "cooler" name.

Lots of people have terrible names or names with tons of numbers in them because they created the acc when they were a nub. Personally, i like my name, but I have many friends who hate there name and really badly want to change it.
And its a mmo, not really dificult to learn a name

Maybe an option would be to just change your name once, maybe everyone can get some sort of no trade item allowing them to change their name) then afterwards you can't change your name again.

Another other option would be to do the above, then add a plat item allowing you to change your character's name, but it would cost like 400 plat. I sincerely doubt that any scammer would be willing to chance that much plat in order to possibly get some stuff.

Maybe you should be able to change ur name once for free and if u wana change it more times u have to pay a lot of plat to stop scammers from constantly name changing.

After a while that person might not want to have the name the used to think was cool and what not. unfathomable happens i guess and this is a mmo where simple stuff such as the ability to change ur name is a must.
I have played many mmo's and i have always been able to change my name however i desired.
And if you have a close friend that you would really trust with your items, would they really not tell u that they changed there name? Hard to get scammed that way.

o.o. this post grewwww, personally make it only onceeee or if you rename you c an she allllllllllll their pas new by going o their info page clicking on he And it opens a window showing ya. Or for 2nd rename 1k plat is more fair. Name renames r serious events. All we need is once so we can have two names. Although can we have three words or more as long as it doesn't go past letter max?
