The situation on Morrigan is a lot different than on other worlds. Ava started out just like everybody else. But they came together formed a tight nit group of players leveled etc. The rest of morrigan has different chiefs fighting for dominance amongst themselves rather than uniting against ava or even just rising themselves.
We of PR have already predicted an increase in our fortunes with the new bosses and mobs to come out.

Everyone else will be too busy with the new content and other stuff to do their normal coverage of certain various bosses. With the soft level cap rising more players might be motivated to level more. This would also give some rise to trouble in morrigan.
After the united clan on morrigan failed (which ava were kind of scared of, understandably so) the normal fueding between various factions continued. And so it continues to this day, although there are a couple new clans on the rise of course.
Most of the problem is not ava, its the rest of morrigan and the lack of great leadership/force of will that carries ava so well. Indeed, ava lucked out during the summer event. It is likely that that might be changed soon.
