I don't know if he's seeking attention or truly unsure about his faith... Hmm... Although, I do think he needs to change the title to one less bashing...

From my point of view, religion itself caused nothing but trouble to mankind in entire history.

Is there a supernatural being we cannot comprehend? Some entity we call God, Allah, Shiva, Jehova, Odin, Grey Alien, Annunaki or The flying Spaghetti monster?

Well, if so, then he/she/it is long gone. Read the holy books carefully, u might find a hint where he/she/it is and when the entity left its creation.

Funny that the hint is in every holy book u can name... Not funny is what the so called enlightened humans, the leaders of their religions did with the heir after mankind were abandoned.

It is even going on. Watch the news. And: It has nothing to do with Satan. It is man himself who did.

Satan has tempted many, so it is partially his fault. Free will created sin, because we are allowed to do anything we choose, which has bad consequences (Adam and Eve, Genesis 1). Can anyone mention where Jesus or God contradict themselves in the Bible? They do not, because they are the only ones who are perfect.

Also, tell me what other religion is solely based on Love.

Let me pose this as a counter question, just put of curiosity.

If everything had to have been created, where did "God" come from?

"He always was" or "he just is" are not answers, if you truly believe that creation is the answer, then answer how creation was created

But in seriousness, it goes the same way as how humans were created, ik the current theory is evolution but where'd all these organisms come from? The best guess is that god was made the same way, just more superior :3

Men chose which texts to collect and put together in a book and called it bible afterwards. Fact too.

So simply put, when you believe in holy words in the bible you basically believe in their decisions what us a good text and what is not.
Martin Luther saw that and put together those texts which didnt find their way in the bible and called them Apocryphes. Read them. And read the old Babylonian texts on which the bible is based - maybe you find one or two contradictions for yourself.

Everyone has their beliefs. I myself was not brought up in church or a religion, I am an aethiest (spelt right??). But I do respect everyone religions, whether it be catholic, Muslim, Christian, etc.

They are just considering the OP's history, though... I have heard of people who believe God created evolution, but that is not stated in Genesis 1, nor is there any implication or proof thereof.

Sorry to come again, but if you want me to name other religions that are solely based on love, well, how about Buddhism, Baha'i, or Zoroastrism?

Jesus preached love, so they say. But what did the historical popes do with that thought in all the centuries? Ah they gained power, killed all who stood against them, hoarded so much wealth that, if released, noone of their followers will ever face hunger again. All in the name of love, of course.

But other religions did that too. As i said, mankind is left alone. Noone "godly" to interfere here...

Let me ask one more question for the sake of being the scientific pin the the religion bubble


Can you admit, that
A) evolution is how people reached their current form (proved)
B) all people can trace their genetic history to one tribe in Africa (proved)
C) the bible is to be interpreted, not taken word for word.(proven, as many of the events depicted simply could not have happened)
