Last skain boss that I used shadowstrike on it was about 17 minutes and I landed shadowstrike 4 times. That's when I ditched shadowstrike as it proved worthless.

That's with 4.5k cunning.

I hit 5k qs 12.4k sneaky and I use rend at about 1200. Your assass is definitely not hitting 14k as you're at 45 assass and mine is barely there in my gear at the same level. Of course I'm also wearing an imp 20% cooldown reduction charm. This is all in edl armour, dark duellists helm and dl weapons.

Way too many rogues and rangers get too caught up with their stat page dmg. Sure, you may have 3k dmg but what is that doing on a boss? 1/3 of that?

Especially on bosses like mordris and edls, your elemental dmg hits for like 1/8 of max on average. The 50 extra divine dmg that the edl set has over dl is more than you think. Same with the skill from offhand. Think about it; if you have 450 chaos dmg and 3k total but only hit in 1k on a boss, that 2500 non divine dmg is only accounting for like 600 on average. Clearly this concept of maximizing A) frequency of hits and B) dmg per hit has some drawbacks if that extra dmg you're adding isn't doing nearly as much as you think it is

But evidently, neither side (full str max skill dmg and high attack high auto) won't come to an agreement so the only way to find out who is right is to bring everyone into a group next beta lol

Same for skills, a 12.4k sneaky sounds impressive but in reality your lucky to hit 3k on mordy

Not sure whos even buying these pots with plat so dont know how will I get... Is that how some rangers got 10.5k attack?

Some get that amount without the attack pots. I think Runandsteal had somewhere around 13k with pot when I saw him on beta
