On May 25 2012 update 3 was released, 143 days later after complaining for all this time they finally tweaked our skills.
And I can understand you all being mad about us complaining if we only needed one thing fixed but we didn't we got:

Energy Boost effectiveness improved
Sacrifice effectiveness improved
Energy Boost recast time reduced by 50%
Fire Bolt recast time reduced by 20%
Ice Shards recast time reduced by 20%
Cloak of Fire recast time reduced by 20%
Firestorm recast time reduced by 20%
Incinerate recast time reduced by 20%
Freeze recast time reduced by 20%
The following skills now use 30% less energy at high skill levels:
Fire Bolt
Ice Shards
Incinerate
Firestore
All Lures
Energy Boost has been significantly reworked to provide more energy when a player has more Focus
Increased the Focus component power of Incinerate by 66%
Increased the Focus component power of Firestorm by 50%
Added a larger Focus component to Sacrifice
Halved the recast time of Lure
Reduced the recast time of Ice Shards by 1 second

So now after looking at this list you should be able to see that we have a right to complain. A list of fixes should never be this big 143 days after a patch this should of been looked into in the firs month of update 3, better yet if you had real people playing beta and not people that just want to see all the new stuff first so they can brag about it in their server this would of never happened.

So I say keep the complains coming in mages this long list of fixes is a smack in our face for the last 143 days of you putting any time into a Mage.

And I'll leave you all with this, remember OTM thinks that rangers need a higher light heal and more effective bolas then to look into Mage problems let alone even read post about how broken we once were for 143 days...

I think the reason this post was moved was because it specifically deals with Mages, and does not raise a general issue or question.

Yes if your math is accurate it will probably take another 200 days before the other main mage problems get addressed.

1. COMBAT ENERGY REGENERATION. When you blast all your spells your left with nothing to attack with.
2. BETTER ARMOR. Mages are supposed to be intelligent. How intelligent is it going out in the world wearing a loin cloth for armor?
3. BETTER WEAPONS. Even in old D&D if I remember correctly, they could use daggers.
