Does anyone know who the master is and what weapon can be found? It seems as though I can get a powerful weapon if I found the master who these shards came from. Thanks

Shards don't do anything at the moment, maybe next update when there's crafting. The mob you killed to get the shard also has a chance in dropping a weapon of the grove. If you're killing an Apprentice, you can get Apprentice <weapon> of the grove. If you kill a Master, you can get Master <weapon> of the grove.

the shard doesnt do anything itd be best to sell to shop for a small chunk of money
the apprentices have a small chance of dropping the weapon that the shard is a part of
the masters do too

if they drop the shard then better luck next time

Thanks, now I know. Seems silly to get a shard with the promise of a weapon if you find the master but it actually isn't possible and the shard really is worthless except for what it brings at the store. Oh well, it is after all just a game. Hope that isn't heresy!

lol when i was a lower level (level 30-ish) i got a connacht weapon shard from a connacht apprentice on the hill in the eastern part of shalemont

i thought i could keep it and collect like 5 pieces for a wep for some quest
wouldve been cool if you could collect shards and forge a wep (maybe a guy could give you quest?)

anyways its worthless now
only worth around 100g or something
