being new I would advise not putting anything in focus.

go 1.2.0.2 with your stat points.

Invest in sharp shot, barbed shot, light heal, and steady aim- max those.

Just do the quests, get in a nice clan, and get a feel for the game. after you hit level 70-80 I would advise going around greygorge and (farming) killing all of the Connacht there for gold, which you should use to buy either the heroic ammy of rejuvenation or the golden quiver of fire (preferably buy from someone- its cheaper). Once you hit 100-120 you can start soloing bosses most likely. Until about level 95 the best gold is actually training, after that you may want to split your time in between farming and training until level 130ish, where it takes one long enough to train as is, so why not just train up to level 150.

Once you hit 150 hit the lux shop and get the ammy and the quiver of your choice.

Before that, when you hit level 100 be sure to get the ring of haste that boosts your attack speed.

i don't want to use the sharp shot and barbed shot, so i'm no upgrade..
light heal is 5 now, recuperate is 4, bolas is 5, Meditate is 5
where do i get double shot or long shot?
what is steady aim working for?
should i put rapid shot more level up or just use 1?

As a new player with no real friends, clan, or a mid to high level main it is virtually impossible for you to get long shot (which really isn't that great a skill) or double shot. If you bought plat and went to castle you might be able to buy both for around 30k, more or less depending on who your buying from and which world your on.

Light heal is fine, but recuperate is totally a good for nothing skill. If you want to use bolas that's fine, but remember if you use bolas you are losing dps. For your level meditate is right on track, but if your not using any dmg skills I wouldn't have bothered.

Steady aim is a skill you can get from the castle ranger vendor once you hit level 15, and it adds dmg (better autos) and attack (more accuracy).

As rapid shot isn't worth a whole lot until you can get it to 40/40, it is a waste of points at your level.

Again, I would really recommend sharp shot and barbed shot, as it gives you a huge dps increase... Also if you want to shoot for skills that can only be gotten off mobs, you must get sharpen, as it adds a nice amount of dmg to your autos- this skill in your situation is way better than longshot and bolas. So if your going to get a super expensive skill, get sharpen.

usually i wouldnt suggest barbed, but napol is right, atm u got nothing else to use, its either those or nothing, imo use those it'll be easier to get the gold for both skills manuals and alt book

That's what I mean. If you are a new ranger with no background you MUST use the skills you can, an auto ranger at that level just isn't as effective. Trust me, ive tried it without steady and sharpen- it sucks.

All worlds do, some are more friendly in general than others, but that's just who people are. As for the rest, you have to do all the friend making and getting into a nice clan (or clans...) yourself! ;) Good luck! :)
