Failed attempt due to our main 2 druids not showing up. We went for it anyway and did surprisingly well.
Our next attempt will be in about 2 weeks, we definitely intend to walk away with some drops and the kill next time. I'll keep it updated here and on our Glassboard.

Did he have 90% remaining or 10%, I'm confused on your wording.

He said "above" which indicates he's talking about health remaining.

So I'm assuming he meant 90+% health was remaining.

If it was 10% left, he would has said little "over" 9/10.
