Use a dex build with meduim to high vit along with a bit of str.
Skills:
Fast Reflexes: allows you to dodge and parry attacks more often
Lifesteal: great for saving restos, even better skill with good rings
Shadowstrike: a rogues main dps skill. Mobs have little to no poison resist (except necro)
Poison weapon: adds poison dmg to your auto attack. Great if you use hastes while lixing
You can use one str skill like qs or sneaky
