Are we allowed to offer RL money for items in game? Or is that against terms?
Please no off topic remarks
Re: Are we allowed?
#4There is nothing inherently wrong about it. It's just OTM would lose revenue if that were to happen. Instead of using real life currency to buy platinum/gold to pay for said item in game, you would be channeling the money directly to the seller while looping OTM's pockets.
That's the main reason I think.
Other reasons would be safety, issues with proof of purchase etc.

#5From the Terms of Service: "You may not sell in-game items or currency for “real” money, or exchange those items or currency for value outside of the game."Are we allowed to offer RL money for items in game? Or is that against terms?

Re: Are we allowed?
#6Would trading something on ios for google play $$ that I were to turn around and directly spend on plat be against the rules? That would benefit OTM I would think.
Re: Are we allowed?
#7ToS is garbage, it's not even followed by OTM. For instance it talks about no gambling for real or in-game currency yet dicing is allowed.

Re: Are we allowed?
#8Ok see but then they would literally have to hire 1-2 new employees just to get rid of dicing, first they would have to find divers, ban then, then someone would have listen to all the complaints and unban tickets set in. When they have better things to do such as FINISH THE DAMN IOS ENGINE and work on the new updateToS is garbage, it's not even followed by OTM. Re: Are we allowed?
#9Consistency is key. If I were banned for not following the ToS, I would fall on dicers as my way out. There's no way a player can be punished for breaching the ToS while nothing happens to another. Rules are rules, no picking and choosing.Ok see but then they would literally have to hire 1-2 new employees just to get rid of dicing, first they would have to find divers, ban then, then someone would have listen to all the complaints and unban tickets set in. #10Dicing is not against the ToS.

As far as I know I have never heard of someone dicing for real-life stuff. With regards to dicing, whilst we do not prevent it we do not govern it in any way, and the Support Team will not enforce any decisions or outcomes arising from these games.
The dice mechanic is provided as a means of randomising numbers; how players use this function is entirely up to them.
The loading screen tip which mentions gambling is in reference to gambling for real-life money or items.
