Insult mode [ON] OFF
@MoneyShot
Your really a moron, you probably don't have the radiant armor but in willing to bet your greedy filled clan members do. You weren't here when the first event was released you weren't here to see how well it worked so shut your noob self up.

To everyone else, yea the first items were actually Lux items during the Halloween event, if you could not afford em, THAT is where your hard work came into play, if you had the potential to defeat the skeleton than you could get the item free. Which worked really great.

LOL... radient armor is in the plat store...
My server is dominated by one clan (be it a bit lazy) last night ythair popd while i and 2! friends where there (that equals three accounts for you tony... You seem a bit slow)

The dominating clan was also present; I won, why did i win? Cause im high level as were my friends, we all hit supers; some in the dominating clan did as well; but not enough. If you arent lvl 150 by now youve no claim to radient anymore than i have a claim to presidential office (only in your head tony). Go grind, lvl, learn the game fully, then be ready for the next event boss and dun be such a whimp about the whole thing.

(My first line references that if you plat to lvl radient shouldnt be so hard to come by)

Option 2 for the insatiable
Join the dominating clan and shut up, again youd still have to lvl; least on bele you had to be 140 + to be eligable for rad. And you had to show up to ythair to get it (novel idea for some)
how stupid are you? Some people actually have productive things to do. If your level 140 you have a claim to ANYTHING in the game, screw your 150 theory, calm down take it slow, the hell would you rush through the game like that, to impress people who in reality don't give to sh*ts about you. 150 means nothing, it's like level 100's before this update, insignificant, the 90's could claim whatever they want. So that was a BS argument.

Yea you have one of the above posters say why don't you just buy the radiant from that clan?

If a player sells it the price is WAY OVERINFLATED.
In my case, 1mil offer on BP was turned down
Ouch, just shows how the game is turning, and not for the better. With no fix in sight for the Mage, Radiant would have made a great stop gap measure. Oh well!

It certainly was not easy for me to get, but I was able to get lesser Solstice BP and then a few days later Greater Solstice BP and Greaves. I paid 50k for the lesser and traded Golden Bodkin of Spirits plus 50k for the Greater BP and Greaves. Before any of you blast me for the amount I gave up know this, it's a sellers market and, sadly, if you want something you have to be willing to pay the price or forgo the items. I don't like it anymore than any of you, but I am glad to have the two pieces of armor. It's no Radiant or Greater Earthstone, but it is a start.

As an aside, do any of you know if there is any armor that adds cold damage, and if so, how do the numbers compare?

I do agree with you Tony that the armor should be added to lux at some point. Hopefully sooner than later. At this point, not doing so only benefits someones ego as it were, bragging rights and such. I guess I can see that aspect, albeit barely, of the game even though I could care less about bragging myself. I don't even PvP as there are no cash or prizes for my effort.

Oh, as a sign of good faith, I have a lesser Solstice BP. I know it is not as useful as the others, but I am offering it as a gift to a Mage in Rhiannon that can make use of it. Just find me in game and ask nicely. First come, first served. :D

I'm almost to full frozen and it doesn't compare to Radiant.

Frozen Celestial Cowl - Cold Damage 6 - Energy 66
Frozen Celestial Gloves - Cold Damage 3 - Energy 32
Frozen Celestial Shoes - Cold Damage 4 - Energy 49
Frozen Celestial Gown - Cold Damage 10 - Energy 164
I don't have the skirt yet. One crest away.

Now compare that to Radiant.

Radiant Earthstone Boots
-Defence 250
-Health 250

Radiant Earthstone Greaves
-Heat Damage 80
-Defence 500

Radiant Earthstone Helm
-Health 500
-Energy 500

Radiant Earthstone Breastplate
-Heat Damage 120
-Attack 500

Don't have stats for gloves yet.

LOL everyone here can do the math. If people want the full full stats I can post it later when I have time.

AND REMEMBER TO GET FROZEN YOU HAVE TO DO WARDEN THEN METEOR THEN FROZEN. WHY GO TO ALL THAT TROUBLE TO GET FROZEN when OT just pops in Radiant, and in the future such other armor.

+1 CREWS, we need an alcoholics anonymous for Mages!!

That doesn't even compare to Greater Solstice, at least for the added elemental damage given.

Now I'm sure some of you may be saying, "But the upcoming Dragon Armor will make Radiant look sickly!" and that may be the case. All I know, at this point in time, is that the Warden-Meteor-Frozen quest armors are IMHO not worth the effort for a Mage. Maybe they are better for other classes. I have no idea.

$50 says they are! :) I haven't delved into frozen stats for other classes, but sure bet it is better. Just using a logical deduction.

BIG EDIT!!! At this point I'll take any frakking thing!!!! If I had Radiant I would go Melee Mage :-)

I don't have radiant but as a melee Mage I hit about 300 twice for every firebolt and about 2400 for every ice shard. S'lot more than I can muster with maxed firebolt and lure.
