I think we all know the community wants it. Is it possible this haloween like everyone wants?

I'm not too eager about the double plat concept. It creates a lot of stress as you have to be there and buy your plat when the event is on, and it also generates a lot of speculation about when it will be up next time.

With update 3, all players got some free non-trade books (alt and rebirth) per character, plus plat equal to 10 per cent of all plat bought by that player to date.

I would rather see this kind of plat rewards than the double plat events, as the stress element is removed. You buy plat when you need and can afford plat, and your purchase always goes towards a future reward.

Before all you maths freaks start proving what is better or worse, this solution will assume that such rewards will be a fact every now and again, and that all previous plat purchases will be used as basis for the reward.

This solution will benefit long term players, who will then get plat rewards more times for the same plat purchase, whereas the double plat event benefits new players with a load of startup cash.

I, for one, would therefore rather have e.g. a 10% plat reward for every update, than another double plat weekend events.

I remember Admin posted a while ago there might be a Black Friday sale, but other than that there wasn't any plans to do another 2x Plat event. Why would there be? It effectively cuts the company's profits in terms of plat sold. Not directly in half, since a ton more people buy plat during such an event which I suspect makes up for some of the business loss.

I personally hope the Black Friday sale goes into effect, although it's still a weird time for a sale...yer spending money on Black Friday (in the USA the day after our Thanksgiving) for other people, not yerself. So why would you drop cash on yer CH account when sales are everywhere geared for shopping your cash on Xmas presents for family/friend's in yer life. But maybe I am just crazy but it seems the worst time for such a sale. I won't have much leftover want to drop even more cash, especially on me, after I have shopped so much for everyone else. But whatever..

Don't forget Apple takes 30% right off the top.

Well, after readin all ur posts about double plat, (i was 100% for the concept:) ) i finally think thats its not a very good idea:) double plat act like double xp, speeding the game, thats why we all are bored very quickely:/ i would better see "deal of the day" like in another mmo for iphone;) cutting off the price of different plat item, or something like that:)
And yes double plat is very stressing:) lol especially for young people as me who are 17 etc...caus getting 80euros isnt as easy as it can seem:) instead of double xp weekend, or gold, or widsom, maybe cutting half the price of elix, or idols (for boss weekend) etc would be more aprorpiate, and will change the economy of the world, and would take less time for OtM to organise with all the people who always arent happy with hat they have ^^

I agree with tea, no but also I agree yes since it is a big shopping spree day for most people in the US and more people will be buying stuff. Say for instance yer gf/bf plays ch but they can't buy cash, you could get on their device (if u find it) and buy them some plat as a gift

From a business standpoint, if ppl are in a spending mood it makes sense to me to have a sale and try to get ur piece of the pie. All other USA businesses will have sales on Black Friday too. I imagine OTM might lose a lot of players for the day to the usual shopping sprees, so it would b a ploy to pull ppl back in and keep spending in game.
From a player standpoint, I don't think game would take any priority over family time this particular weekend, so I'm not sure I'd be on much longer than it takes me to log in and stock up on plat. The weekend after Thanksgiving weekend would be nice though. Just my 2 cents.

Anytime theres an event (in this case haloween) I think their should be one. I means by not? I think it encourages those who dont buy plat to buy some, and those who already do to buy more.


Just because your 16 and can't buy any doesn't mean you should be against the idea just because it's hard for
You doesn't mean it is for everyone else. Anyways hope it happens soon would love to see it.

I think everyone is thinking in terms of 16 year old buying 4000 plat. We shouldn't look at it from that standpoint. How we should look at it is that they will still be able to purchase plat even if it's up the 300 plat range because it is more affordable to people and still allows for a huge effect on a persons game.
