Obama will most likely win. I will not mention what party I am aligned with but with the current polls, republicans seem to be loosing the swing states and the democrats are gaining the lead in Ohio and Florida.

Also, it seems like more and more people are either dealigning from any party or becoming a democrat. Unless Obama completely fails if he gets reelected, I do not see any chance of even having another republican president for a long time because there will be some faith for the party in control.

However, whether it is Obama or Romney, the U.S. has a long way to go before coming back "up" to its former glory.

Perhaps, 2 years ago the tea party movement showed what happens when the common guy gets mad at DC. The question is, are people still mad? That movement was conservative but also mad at the republicans for not being conservative enough fiscally. Social issues aside. The people are sick of politicians bouncing the checkbook and maxing out the credit apple.

I'm glad you are happy where u live. But hat doesnt mean it is the best solution for everybody.
