Don't instantly cast heal on the warrior that runs in, your heals act as taunts and they will come for you.
I can confirm this. I thought the AI was just programmed to hate druids, and to be honest, its not a bad idea.
Once they are killed you can move the king up the hill and toward the beach area side.
Suicide charge is a good opening move.
The one with the scepter is real nasty. He has hit me for 2500 before.
Wow. I got hit for 1900 by him and I thought that was a big hit.
A minimum of 2 or 3 healers for this one just to keep tank alive
We tend to have two or three. One just isn't enough.
Serenity on Arawn has defeated the giant many times now. The best strategy is to lure him away from his friends. Up the hill works to a point but if you go too far up should you loose aggo such as if you tank dies, he will run back and reset. You can lure him down to the beach a little past the rock or down the hill to the other side and he will be far away enough from his friends so they won't attack. Unless that is someone comes along and tries to "help" and inadvertantly draws them over. Or someone draws them over on purpose out of spite.
Once you get him away from his friends it is just a matter of time and dps. Even with a well oiled machine of level 80+ characters it still takes the better part of an hour. I bolas initialy but once we get engaged I don't bother to keep it up as he will stay in place and keep hitting the tank. You can interrupt him easy enough and it just becomes a waiting game.
Good luck.
