Yes I'm sure someone said it, but if you hit the mob and it dies without resetting, regardless of your group affiliation you should get the quest completed. Drops should go to the group/person that did the most damage though. But if that drop is a quest reward, everyone that hit the mob should get it. No sense in level 130 players still yet to complete a level 60 quest with the current system. It is ridiculous.

Target lock should address this concern in update , I don't disagree that people should be able to complete quests if they are willing to put in the effort . My only problem is the people that want everything handed to them this sense that they deserve it or are entitled to it .

I'm a nub and I don't see much point to the game if you can't farm bosses for profit. The game is set up so if you give out stuff and help 100% of the time you lose to players who keep good items and farm for gold.

That said they should do a better job separating quest items from profitable bosses. Make the rems/tabs/disks bound for example. Make SV alt bosses for quest that drop nothing. Perhaps even have a server wide vote each month (min lvl of 20 maybe or one vote per device ID) for the most generous person and give them a prize!

But if the game turns into a nanny state where it isn't possible to act badly I'm quitting. It's acting good when players COULD act badly that makes them great. Without the ability to create drama the game gets boring fast. It's a balance between these things IMO.
I dont see the point in being "bad" and farming for bosses and creating drama.... the point is that the game has material and a different experience for every level, and the fact that a level 150+ ruins the game for a level 60 is simply ridiculous. Im not asking the high levelers to simply stop farming bosses, i do the same, but wat im asking and wat i think drizzt too is trying to say is for them to stop being greedy and soloing bosses. They cant simply solo a boss when there are other people standing there before you (even if they dont need it for their quest). It wont hurt to group these people..... So theres a difference in "Farming" and "being greedy"

I think otm would do something if i stay on beech farming gold not allowing new players to even get started on quest trail some high levels r doing exactly this but a little further along the quest trail i couldnt care less about selling drops but deliberately taking bosses from people who need for a quest is just plain wrong
The sort of actions im talking about was a level 80 shouting in local for someone to help with fell fire a few player grouped him and met at fell fire then a level 150+ mage comes along and few shots later he pulls aggro and kills it solo the level 80 is left without quest mob and the people helping r left in disbelief that such an apparently good player would do such a thing
A few minutes later my son who is 7 asks for help doing spell wisp a kind hearted person agrees to help and while he is stood there. Waiting for high level to arrive bang bang same guy comes along and solos even after i took sons ipod and whispered him saying i needed for quest and you can keep drop aswell as eventually dieing and lying on floor dead still asking to get into group
This could easily be stopped if drops were limited to within so many levels of boss getting the frags is not a problem its been on at right time to clear the quest is the problem with high level guys doing stuff like this

Elim, what time is it? Teaching time!

This is how not to be a retarded jerk.

I might not follow these a lot but who cares? One less jerk hole is better than two.

There is two simple opinions I am going to describe to you.

1. Kind opinions
2. Rude opinions

Oh sure you have a right to share your opinion but it just makes you look like a retarded jerk. There are some opinions you should not say.

Most of these problems will be fixed with the up an coming update. Most of the higher levels will be too preoccupied with the new content. This should last quite a long time. Also the target lock should counter this problem too.

I have no problem grouping some low levels, but if they be jerks about it i will not group them. I rarely go to stonevale unless people ask for my help, but the reality about it is many people are greedy and nothing will stop this. They'll find ways around things if they really wanted to. I have dealt with many greedy people since i started, and most of the time it is because they dont like grouping "low levels" after many of the lower levels proved their worth lots get accepted into many different groups.

This is a problem that cant really be fixed till there are more non quest bosses then quest ones. Its fairly stupid to lvl up get my main quest done then be limited to only one thing to kill, this game needs more end game content otherwise higher lvls will have nothing to do and go kill lower lvl bosses. While everyone complains that higher lvls are killing all the bosses let me ask u a question what would u do at lvl 150 with only one boss to kill that spawns every 2-3 days? So i say add more bosses non quest related give players at high lvls something to kill other then just one boss.

Lying dead is one of the reasons people don't help lower levels , asking to join a group and not being prepared with idols/pots whatever else is one of the reasons people do not want to help lower levels .

Exactly. There needs to be a reason to lvl and gear up.

I'm only lvl 70 and I have been ks before on many occasions. However I've played games where there is no such thing as ks where everyone gets the loot and it is so boring I quit. I do not mind getting ks - swearing and getting mad are part of what makes the game interesting. I've leveled to max lvl (or nearly so) on nearly all mmos on iTunes and this game does NOT have a bad problem with ks at lvl 100- IMO.

People should have to work for quests/items or the game is too easy and also not fun.
