Re: Should I continue my rouge or start a ranger?

The ignorance of saying rogues are better for soloing. . .

Rangers have bolas and light heal, and entangle for those who wish to use it. . .

1) Keeping the mob away from you
2) Healing damage taken quickly in battle
3) Slowing enemy attack speed

Most the solo guides for rogue involve alot of pots and combo elixirs, something rangers can do as well. Rogues may have more dps in general, but well built and well geared rangers can get close. If you want to say rogues are better for those things, please back up why :)

I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Hey aly, go watch Kaat for awhile at caves. She's one badazz rogue who has soloed all her levels at caves and she going for 158. Maybe she can tell you.

Or watch me solo at caves, which I have done for almost all my cave experience as a ranger.

Or remember Diane who would solo train at ymirs as a druid.

Eliminator is right, don't listen to most people. Solo training is mostly about how motivated are you and how deep are your pockets. Pick the class.you wanna play and have the most fun at. All classes are good at certain things and are all useful. But to say rangers are better then rogues at soloing cause of light heal and bolas.... Ehh at some mobs yes but others no. Funny I remember saying the OW eyes were easy to me and my hardest levels were golums and Roguerampage said eyes were his hardest solo levels and golums were his easiest. Go figure.

Helloss, Kaat solos with the help of super combo elix and resto pots, ask her if you don't believe me. I believe I specifically said that when I mentioned soloing for rogues. Yes, choose whichever class suits you, but rogues don't have as many soloing options as ranger does, fact until proven otherwise. This was a discussion b/w rogue and ranger - Diane is a druid who had an op wind, not even part of this conversation. I don't know why you continue to post negative things in return to my responses, when all I asked was to explain how rogue was a better soloer, which you did not do by the way - other than restos and combos I might add.
