Think this has gone on long enough lol the only reason it was for two months is he was so proud why step on that lmao, I do recall all the one handed hammer guys holding a golden off-hand as well ...lame ... My opinion, Both.
When i was leveling up i used spear and it worked out pretty well for me, but i soon switched to hammer then to sword, never tried out axe but a lot of my friends use axe and they say its great

Hammers and axes have disadvantages
Hammers and Axes hit at random and never hit at a constant damage and do have a high attack speed
Swords are better with constant damage range along with lower attack speed(good thing)

Oh and to top it off the only reason he hit anywhere near the top is he had a mage add lure to the target before he hit it some hammer skills need a mage to help boost lmao
