We certainly have very big plans for the future of CH and have no plans to shut the game down in the coming years - the team has more than doubled in size in the last year alone and we have more new people joining the team here in the Scotland dev studio every month. We've been investing everything back into future content, engines, technology, tools, the team size and quality etc. to make sure the game keeps improving drastically as time goes on. So I personally am confident that the game will be up and running for a long time in the future.
Will there ever be weekly updates?
The game would change too quickly IMO.

It changes too quick with yearly updates IMO.
World - Sulis
Clan - Toxic

H3ROsRogue - lvl 220 rogue
H3ROsRanger - lvl 200 ranger
H3ROsMage - lvl 220 mage
H3ROsDruid - lvl 220 druid
H3ROsWarrior - lvl 200 warrior
H3ROsLocker - lvl 190 rogue

Can't imagine losing kills to a ranger in 2019.

I wonder about the long-term outlook of the game. Currently, a new player may take on average at least a year to catch up with the high level players (190+). If there are yearly updates with an associated raising of the level cap, this will present an ever receding target for newer players (imagine starting at level 1 when, a couple of updates later, most high levels are at level 280). Unless one is a serious gamer, they will most probably never rise to elite status. I think this will be quite discouraging to most prospective players and it will be difficult to recruit new blood to keep the game going. Of course OTM may make some drastic changes to the game architecture, in which case all bets are off ;)

We're mainly looking to expand sideways with crafting, gathering, fishing, pets, mounts, pvp battlegrounds, new types of quests etc. There will be new higher level zones but levelling up will no longer be the only focus.
Oh Ok Thanks Admin,

Be sure to see some $100's come ur way :)

i am glad to hear that there will be no more leveling - while increasing high level zones - have a firm, and known, level cap of 200. I think it would be nice if, at a certain level (say 190+), only long, involved quests, would increase power (like granting extra skill points).

I believe OTM is smart to focus on improving the game as it exists rather than just increasing levels. More story lines, more creative ways for Bosses to behave or spawn (i always thought the idea if clearing an area in a certain amount of time would force a boss spawn to be a cool thought), more ways to spend your time in ch to give your toon unique attributes and power (crafting, etc.). thanks

You misunderstood, there isn't a level cap at 200. They already proved it by fixing TerminNater's xp bar. He meant to say that with the coming of new content like crafting and whatnot that levelling up won't be the main focus.

That's a ridiculous thought honestly, if you release new bosses then people will want to kill them and how will they kill a boss 50 levels higher than them? They won't, so levelling will always be the main focus of this game until a cap is reached.

Although this is very true, I would like to see a hard cap implemented into this game. Raising the level cap is just stupid because as someone mentioned above, now players will have absolutely 0 chance. 200 seems like a perfect level cap, raising it higher would just be plain stupid.

my point, though not expressed well, was that we should have a level cap and force the game to have other things to do. I have seen tons of ideas for thing people could do without leveling - both in terms of activities (fishing, crafting, etc.) or in terms of increasing powers (creating pathways for characters that give interesting bonuses to certain skills and some unique skills).
