I dunno but I bought the first two seasons and have never got around to watching.. Seemed kinda more like a drama then action to me.. Anybody got some Words of Wisdom to convince me to start watching it?

I don't think anyone can force you to watch a show you're not really into. It's either you like the genre or not. It's not the typical medieval fantasy movie as it's not merely about dragons or direwolves or zombies and men fighting with swords and bows. It's more of a political story set in a fantasy setting, with a lot of intrigue and intricate conspiracies.

Game of Thrones is a pop culture worldwide phenomenon right now, as references to it range from product advertisements to late night talk show skits and even new (reality) shows take their title from it (Game of Arms, for example). It's the most pirated show in the internet as well.

GoT is everywhere, and it if you haven't watched it, it's like missing out on Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. If you haven't seen those either, then I suppose you have nothing to worry about.

Anyone whos seen both GoT and The Wire do you thing The Hound saying 'A man gotta have a code' was a reference to Omar/The Bunk.
Interestengly Omar and the Hound basically have opposite codes
