If you actually had a mid or endgame ranger people would probably want to listen to what you have to say yakat. Otherwise, all you see is the outside of the class. Most people only see the outside of other people too.

In order to see the inside of a class (which is easier than seeing the inside of a person [thoughts/ways of doing things]), all you have to do is make a char of that class. And then, of course, you need to play it.

While your playing it you get to see how everything works, where complaints of the class come from, and where their strengths come from.


For example, I had a friend a... awhile ago actually. It was v3 of CH. She was a mage. I was beginning my Napol while she was beginning her own char. We joined the same clan, and came on at about the same time. Since we were about the same level almost all the time, we started leveling together, especially once 50+ came about. I was quite impressed with her dps output. All those fireballs and ice shards pummeling her opponents- it was really inspiring.

So I decided to make a mage. I got it to level 40, with some powerful firecloak assistance. This mage became my personal bank. Then I decided to give the mage class a do-over from level 1. It was a tough experience. With no one helping me, paper armor, and a limited energy pool, I quickly began to realize why she was happy to let me tank and heal for her, and also why after a mob run she would kill herself so she could respawn with full health and half energy- or go to the tavern.


That's one of my own class experiences for you. I now have a 60+ mage, but for now he is in the shadows, waiting his turn to be leveled... which isn't going to happen for a loooong while. I decided that e-shield, fire cloak, evasions, dps nerfs, etc etc etc were pretty crippling. I am waiting until people actually want to straighten out classes before I bring out my mage again. If I do make a new mage in the near future, its for dual device purposes and so the mage can be a lure monkey with mainly support skills.


Point is: Play a class before you criticize or comment on it.

I agree 100% rangers suck. When ever I'm in arena I get one shotted by rouges and warriors cause of my low hp

Thats because you're using a build that consists of low vit, but you will get wrecked by every other class regardless as a ranger.

I don't know why you say this is an absolute. My ranger does well in pvp.
