Yakat please outline this so called support, heal and dps build you're conjuring up that is amazing, genuinly curious im always open to ideas on how to make my ranger better

So you're telling me rangers don't have a heal, support skills, or damage? I think you're wrong ._.

Please tell me the support skills we have def spikes entangle? Well guess what they are both unfathomable and no one uses them, bolas and light heal are all we have

You also have steady aim and sharpen weps both good skills

Bolas
Sharpen
Entangle(is not bad on endgame bosses, nobody wants strategy though)
Spikes(needs a buff)

We have a heal? There is a class dedicated to healing yet they can still out dps us, entangle is good? Alright
What level is your ranger? I'm pretty sure me an all the other endgame ranger can disagree all you have is theory we have the facts, we have experienced this first hand, defensive spikes ? That my friend is a joke please don't bring it up again. Sharpen weapons hmm ok but how does that support ourselves ? As an individual? As an individual a rouge has fast reflexes and poison weapons. Bolas is the only good skill but even then no one really likes kiting it's annoying and personally I don't use bolas (it annoys me having to run for my life)

Please don't debate on something you have no knowledge of or any experience what do ever, You've been making yourself look like a fool. And I'm sure the hundreds of other Rangers agree with me. -_-

Honestly from the way u post all ur stuff I doubt ur endgame. Entangle is actually a great skill. Sharpen weps does infact support us and our dps ALONG WITH others. I agree that most our skills are broken but if u honestly think sharpen doesn't support our class and entangle is horrible then u need to look those skills over

Thanks curry. And yeah, rangers do need some skills fixed. I think those are more on the support side and making the class more enjoyable(spikes buff, cast long shot as far as you want, make sharpshot str based). You can not say light heal is useless. It is an amazing group skill(I know this from leveling with rangers). Yeah, it doesn't benefit you as much as it benefits the group, but support classes are usually that way. Entangle is actually a great skill if you disregard the evasions. If every ranger runs entangle less druids are needed on the tank and can focus their attention elsewhere. I know plenty of people that love rangers. I know druids that love hiding behind the tank and healing. I know rogues that love damage. I know mages that loves seeing their shards hit 7k. I know warriors that love tanking. If ranger skills aren't fun for you pick another class.

Some rangers are happy with their class. Some want equal or better dps. Some are tired of being owned in PvP and want vindication. Others want class balance. In no way are rangers perfect, but I personally disagree when people say they are completely useless because it isn't their play style.

i find some rangers frustrating to listen to. mostly because they want to match other classes at their roles. the rangers role in this game, is to be the solo class that is good but not best at everything

good dps, heals, area buffs, mob debuffs, range, survivability.... ranger is my favourite class to play yet
