i think if we got a story line series of quests like we did in all the other areas then the update would be much more fun... instead we got another "evil in stonevale" quest and a "defector " quest otherworld style....

Money really is difficult to make if you rather help clan mates and give boss drops away instead of using other people (and their money). Like Gruffy said, most of that money came from plat always.

A lvl cap would be great.

I never did like xp lix... it makes grinding so worthless. I mean, if I don't buy lix, I will lvl very slowly while those who spend a lot less time in the game lvl quicky. Playing WoW, I've really gotten to enjoy the benefits of a payed game. That said, I still enjoy playing very much.

The xp/kill in OW is significantly less in otherworld then in Stonevale (comparing a group of 3 lvl 84-89 in OW to a lvl 67 in Stone). Difficulty should come gradually, but theres a huge jump from Stonevale (easy) to OW (difficult). Its no fun to grind and grind and grind and your XP bar barely moves.

More quests would be great. I suggested a while ago that there should be a "best questline" competition.

I have never bought gold and I've made over 2million gold just by grinding (I have over 99k mobs killed), and selling items (e.g. discs). Perhaps I'm one of the few, but I've shown it's not impossible.

Sorry dude but I have to agree with others. even if you had killed 100k Mobs and sold their drops to vendor, (not including frags here) You would be looking at around 1Mil, and how long have you been playing for? Also, in my clan, we have a rule that you are not allowed to sell frags. Any frags that you get that you do not need go to the clan bank to help kit the other players. any that you do need you keep. I have given away 15+ drags, and in no way do I see this as giving away 1-2Mil, because they were never mine to sell, it was a group and clan effort.

Reducing the price that items sell to Vendor was a bad move in my opinion. 50Coins for a Connacht weapon is pretty reasonable imo, if not too low. E.G. a Connacht Sword is not much worse than a standard Falchion. a Connacht Sword sells to the shop for around 36 gold now. A Falchion costs 925.

All-in-all, it is very hard to get money, and if it wasn't available on plat store, then every world would have sooo much less money, and having gear that I think of as simple things now such as a Heroic Ammy of Rejuvenation, Heroic Gloves, Heroic Boots, Bloodlust, Bodkin of spirits etc. would be a lot rarer.

Just for clarification, i have spent a lot of time Farming gold, but the majority of my money and items has come from buying platinum and merching items. Withouut being able to do these i would be lucky to even have a Heroic Ammy of Rejuv by now.

Also, non-combat skills and a variety of Mini-games is the answer to it all!

Hopefully some of the problems we see now will be patched in quickly, and the updates will come with most of these ideas in mind. The next update is aimed mostly at the auction house and crafting, so at least we can be thankful is not entirely grind-oriented - I'm not sure I could do two of these in a row.

i meant we didnt get a storyline like all the other areas got, we just got more "kill the bosses/mini bosses" quests... i was comparing the fairyland one to defector quest, and the guy at the tower to eveil in stonevale

I certainly don't either, and thats why I posted these suggestions. I mean if the dev team is willing to fix some of these problems, even if it cuts profit slightly, in the long-run I think it will do amazing things. I really love this game and have grown close to it, the forums, the community, everyone in my clan, and even the people who make it. But I know that there have been so many complaints, and the reason is because of the delayed update and having to rush it out anyway. This was all kind of expected. But if we can work on these problems going forwards, I have no doubts that this game will be the best in its class (hey, it already is), and that it will go above and beyond everyone's expectations. It was disappointing to me to see so many people upset over such a variety of reasons, and while it shouldn't really be any of my concern over what other people think of the game, I think that a few solutions to these problems can go a LONG ways, and perhaps overwrite anything else that people don't like. I really would like some of them to be considered, if people tend to agree with the direction that it would take the game.

The thing most ppl are grumbling about is that they waste a ton of money wasting xp pots and resoration pots, and not getting there money's worth. I don't understand it. Just lvl with a Druid, change ur stats, or atk other monsters. I don't get it.
