There is a scammer active in Morrigan. He makes fake versions of your name and then asks your clan mates to borrow mounts and gear. He then sells them using the name *removed*. Just this morning he made "See1a", "O1dhitta" and "E1sroth".

Yes we all know the "never lend your gear and you will never be scammed" advice but most of us have no problem lending items to clannies. Getting scammed can happen to anyone. This post is just a reminder to double check the player's level before you trade. Also it's a good idea to make fake versions of your own name so it is unavailable. For example, I made "B1uestarr" and "B(capital i)starr".

I feel like there should be a exception to that rule if she's warning people of a known scammer.

Vold! A little nit picky wouldn't you say? No name shaming here and I'm usually very careful not to do that to anyone. The toon I named was another lvl 5 noob account he used to sell scammed items, absolutely not his main account. Most likely banned now and big thanks you to Mulder for that.

When I found out a scammer was going around using a variation of one of my alts names I quickly send in a support ticket but didn't get a response, hope something was done about this.
