If you watched your average melee hit and compared to your stat page, you'd see that pierce dmg is hitting on average about 8% of the max value on proteus

A bow ring that adds 120 to your stat page dmg (I assume that's equivalent to majestic/royal) is counted as physical dmg and therefore would only do 15 dmg on average. A 70 divine dmg ring does 70*.8=56. Unless your attack was very low to begin with, the extra dps from divine dmg is greater than the extra dps from the boosted attack. But feel free to post your stats and gear and I could calculate it more precisely

This whole discussion would be a lot easier if we knew how much attack we needed for bosses up to and including gelebron.

There is a point where attack becomes nearly negligible. Do you need 10k attack on stonefang? Similar to the strength plateau. 100 strength points after you already have 2000

It's not stupid at all. It would be good if you knew if you had X amount of attack then X percentage of your autos would miss.

U could know that if u had boss' defence. Regardless, u will still need high attack. If what BlackMamba says is true then divine surely wins.

11k attack is about 40-60% of autos landed on mord Necro Prot and gelebron

I highly doubt its anywhere near 40% on necro. Regardless, if its 40% it even more means that divine ring has bigger effect cus extra 700 attack wont mean much other than few percentage.
