Ksing is short for kill stealing (Ks) for short. Basically I will set two scenarios in which one is not ksing and one is ksing. I am tired of people say I ks when I show up for Sunclaw early.

Scenario 1: Johnny arrives late and gets to the boss before halfway (Basically when ya hit half way most damage gets drop *not all the time but commonly*) They recieve the drop and jump (fast travel) to castle.

Review of Scenario 1: What Johnny did was kill stealing, and for that the most he'd get was kicked from his clan. Basically if ya show up late let other get kill and kill some other time.

Scenario 2: (This one is common for me) Xilo shows up a few minutes before Sunclaw spawns and patiently awaits the wyvern. Others also arrive and prepare for him. Xilo gets it down halfway and gets drop. Everyone throws a fit and starts swearing at Xilo.

Basically I'd like to address these are the rights and wrongs, basically ethics of ksing. I am not a kser and many clans considered ksers aren't ksers. The people who assume are the morons (not all) that assume everything is gonna be fair and they will get to join in. Life isnt fair, just deal with it and move along

And another thing, when there is a boss and a couple low levels standing at him waiting for help and a high lvl able to kill the boss shows up and kills him, that isn't ks'ing either because the low lvls had not started and would not have been able to kill anyway. Common sense really.

Also, when a group of low lvls (30-40) stand around Ducarious and ask for help and someone really high lvl that seems like ksing but it isn't it's just greed at its finest also a signal for the low levels to start leveling so they can handle their own share of bosses (mini bosses)

Not necessarily. If a group of level 100s start attacking Ignus but clearly couldn't beat him, a group of level 130s could conceivably come in and take the kill. Yes, the level 100s will scream KS but honestly, did the first group really have a chance? Idols and Pots blur the line so much on what a group can and cannot do. This is the only MMO game I know that gives everyone unlimited lives. I've always preached in Avalon if the tank dies more than 3 times, abort the fight. Don't bite off more than you can chew. We have let the old OW bosses live for weeks because we knew we couldn't beat them without spending tons of plat. But when you see a group wiping over and over, they should just quit and give others a chance.

What do you call it when a group that is capable of killing is standing by the boss getting ready, another guy (who clearly can't kill on his own) starts and uses a few idols to keep it going until the rest of his group gets there to help him?

I can maybe understand if his whole group showed up and the other group hadn't started, but this is different.

It ends up being a FFA, but definitely not the kind of behavior you would expect from a top 10 clan (I guess unless you are on Lugh server).

I wouldn't do this and wouldn't expect anyone in my clan to do it either.

I would call that a FFA, but it would be disrespectful to the other group I guess. Bit in that case the ready group should go ahead and take what is rightfully theirs.
