Does anyone use the arena?

I was wondering, what do people think would encourage others to use the arena more?

A chest that spawns carrying rare, useless loot. Spawns every 2 hrs. Maybe... Sometimes with generous amounts of gold.

ERM Maybe a wildlife arena where random mobs difficult spawn every hour with good drops... ERM, competitions!

I cant remember what post it was, but someone suggested putting an Obelisk type mob in there, with an insane amount of HP. It would be a DPS race with PVP to try to get the kill without dying.

I was wondering, what do people think would encourage others to use the arena more?

Making arena more like a boss fight, make taunt warcry and other aggro skills work in there because everyone just gets gang attacked but if we got a warrior using warcry and druids healing him it will make it fun for everyone knowing they have some sort of protection from being gang attacked. I agree, making taunt and warcry work would definately make things more interesting and group fighting much more fun. Its a boring kill druids, kill others, get killed, run back, kill druids and so on. No propper fights.

Or arranging a proper group fight in there, one team is behinde the gate at the other side the other at the normal one when gates open the fight starts and theres no respawning

The idea of making it a boss fight sounds fun but I am not sure how practical it is, maybe a solution for next update.

I do think an obelisk that has some type of unique drop would be an easy fix, it would certainly draw a lot of people into arena.

Even if it just a training obelisk , maybe if engaged you skill up at twice the normal rate .

1. Make it so that sigils don't work there.
2. Make anyone too low to give you PvP experience unattackable so low levels do not have to worry about being ganked by high levels (unless the low levels attack first)
3. Make PvP mean something other than lame titles - e.g. Fashion rewards that require a certain PvP rank to equip

The Arena is for PvP, not PvE. Putting a boss there ruins the whole thing lol.
